Privacy Policy

This policy has two parts. Apps we publish, immediately below, covers the applications Third Vantage LLC distributes on the Apple App Store, which collect nothing and send nothing to us. The sections that follow it, from “Information we collect” through “Your choices”, cover our website, our consulting services and our internal tools. “Children’s privacy”, “Changes to this policy” and “Contact” apply to both.

Apps we publish

This section covers the applications Third Vantage LLC distributes on the Apple App Store and the Mac App Store, including AgentHeadroom for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It is written to be read on its own, because these apps work differently from everything else this policy describes.

We collect nothing. These apps have no server, no account system and no sign-up. There is no Third Vantage account to create, nothing you do in an app is transmitted to us, and we could not receive it if it were — there is nowhere for it to go. We hold no personal information about anyone who uses them, so there is no data of yours for us to use, share, sell, retain or disclose.

No analytics, advertising or crash reporting. These apps contain no third-party code that reports anything, and no advertising or tracking identifiers are collected or used. We include no crash reporting of our own, deliberately, because crash reporters capture memory and memory can contain a signed-in session. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple may pass us anonymised crash reports; Apple prepares those itself, under its own privacy policy, and they are not something the apps send.

Where your sign-in is kept. AgentHeadroom signs in to the AI providers you choose through each provider’s own web login. The resulting session is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device, marked so that it never syncs through iCloud Keychain and never migrates to another device from a backup. It is never sent to us, and after moving to a new phone you sign in again. Usage readings and their history are stored only in the app’s own container on your device.

If you turn on Share accounts with the Mac. The switch is under Settings › Mac in the iPhone app, and it is off unless you turn it on. With it on, your sign-ins are kept in your iCloud Keychain instead — end-to-end encrypted by Apple, readable on your own devices only, never seen by us — so that AgentHeadroom on your Mac can show the same accounts without a sign-in of its own. The Mac then reads your usage with those sign-ins exactly as the phone does, and nothing passes through us either way. Turning the switch off removes them from iCloud Keychain and keeps them on your phone alone.

If you turn on Wake from Mac. Also under Settings › Mac, and also off unless you turn it on. With it on, your Mac leaves a single short note in your own iCloud account when it sees your usage move — which accounts moved and why, never a reading — and your iPhone listens for that note so it can fetch sooner instead of on its own schedule. The note lives in the private part of your iCloud account that only your devices can read; we cannot see it, and nothing about it reaches us. Turning the switch off stops the listening, and the Mac stops writing the note when no phone is listening for it.

Who else receives anything. The only network destinations these apps contact are the providers whose accounts you have added, from which they read the same usage figures that provider shows on its own account page. Your use of those providers remains governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Paid features are bought through Apple, which handles the purchase under its own terms; we receive no personal details from it. No third party receives information from us in connection with these apps, because we have none to give.

Deleting your information. Removing an account inside the app immediately deletes its stored session, its browsing data, its saved readings and its history — and, if sharing is on, its copy in your iCloud Keychain, which then disappears from your Mac as well. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on that device; sign-ins you have shared through iCloud Keychain are removed when you turn sharing off or remove the account, not by deleting the app alone. iOS itself may keep Keychain items after an app is deleted; if you reinstall, the app erases any leftover session on its first launch. Because nothing is held on our systems, no request to us is needed and none is possible.

Our website, services and internal tools

Third Vantage LLC respects the privacy of clients, employees, and authorized users. The sections that follow explain how we collect, use, and protect information through our website, internal tools, and business integrations. They do not describe the apps covered above.

Information we collect

We may collect contact information, company information, support request details, device and technical information, and communications you send to us. When authorized, our internal tools may also access business records from connected services, including QuickBooks Online data such as company profile information, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, accounts, and related accounting records.

How we use information

We use information to provide IT consulting and support services, respond to requests, maintain business records, operate internal workflows, troubleshoot issues, improve security, and meet legal or accounting obligations. QuickBooks Online data is used only for authorized internal business processes and client service needs.

Connected services and credentials

If a tool connects to a third-party service, we request only the access needed for the approved workflow. Access tokens, API credentials, and similar authentication information are treated as confidential and are not sold or shared for advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate our business, such as hosting, ticketing, email, security, accounting, and automation providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or with your direction or consent.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, tax, accounting, security, or contractual reasons. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it where practical.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of information where applicable. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, contractual, or business record requirements.

Children's privacy

Our website, internal tools and consulting services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Our apps are general-audience tools for people managing subscriptions they pay for themselves. They are not directed to children and we do not market them to children. They collect no personal information from anyone, at any age, so there is nothing we could collect from a child — knowingly or otherwise.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when this version was last updated.
